Become a Green Hotel – Workshop April 12

Join the Power Up Energy Expo for a Green Lodging Workshop on April 12 at the Hilton Pensacola Beach Gulf Front. The workshop is geared for hotels, motels, condo associations and other property managers interested in reducing operating expenses, conserving natural resources and learning more hands-on examples of strategies to reach sustainability goals. Participants will learn about the Florida Department of Environmental Protection’s Green Lodging Program and how to register your property as a certified Green Lodge. The workshop includes energy and water conservation techniques, lighting controls, building automation systems, irrigation controls, low VOC finishes, green cleaning products and more.
